A small soft fruit farm (strawberry / raspberry) are looking for a motivated manager to run the harvest operation.
We are looking for someone who enjoys being hands on and has harvest experience, ideally in soft fruit but other harvest experience will be considered.
The role will suit someone who is focussed on achieving the best out of his/her workforce and enjoys working as part of a team.
Key responsibilities;
- Organising daily work for 80+/- workers
- Training and development of staff
- Managing a small team of supervisors
- Quality control
- Working in line with set budgets
- Working as part of a management team to ensure all targets are met
- Flexibility to be involved in other areas of the farm if required
This role would suit someone who is looking for either a permanent or seasonal role, salary would be dependant on experience.
