To be eligible to partake in the SAWS scheme you must meet the following criteria:
- Be aged 18 or over at the time of starting work on the scheme
- Be a Bulgarian or Romanian national
- Not have taken part in the SAWS scheme within the last 3 months
If you are successful you will also need to ensure that you only work for the employer named on your work card (or for another employer where the placement has been arranged and agreed to by Fruitful Ltd)
There are no restrictions on the number of times individuals may participate in the scheme provided they take a 3 month gap between placements, and abide by the rules concerning their immigration status.
In the past participants used to have to be students in full time education please note that this restriction NO longer apply to the scheme. |
