FAQS EMPLOYERS

Obviously we are happy to answer any questions you might have, you can find our contact details on the Contact Us link on the left. But below, you might find the answer to some common questions:

Q: Where does Fruitful Jobs recruit its candidates from?

A: Most of our applicants / candidates are from Eastern European countries, our main source is from Poland (where we have a number of offices), but we also recruit from Latvia, Slovakia and Estonia as well as other European Countries.

Q: I am worried about overseas staff ability to communicate with our clients in English. How can you reassure me?

A: We understand how important communication is in the service industry and that your staff will need good level of spoken English as well as written English for some roles. We will ensure that this is the case before we put anyone forward to you. We also find that recruits are very keen to work on any areas needed very quickly once they arrive in the UK.

Q: What happens if a member of staff recruited through Fruitful Jobs leaves shortly after starting?

A: If a member of staff leaves within 1 month of starting work then Fruitful Jobs will offer a free replacement or if you do not want them replacement a full refund (this applies to Hospitality based roles only and not farming roles). Over this time period Fruitful Jobs will look at exceptional circumstances on a case by case basis.

Q: If you recruit from overseas will the first time I meet them be when they arrive to start work?

A: This is up to you, you can leave the full recruitment up to us, or you can be as involved in the process as you want to be, you can attend an interview / selection day in Poland or we can arrange telephone interviews (more suitable for smaller numbers)

Q: Do I have to provide accommodation?

A: If workers are coming from overseas they obviously will need somewhere to live and this can be very difficult to arrange if you are overseas. People arriving from overseas, will find a job much more appealing if accommodation is available, you will obviously charge a fair rent for any accommodation offered.

Q: What checks are made by Fruitful Jobs before new recruits from overseas arrive to start work with me?

A: ID documents are checked to ensure status to work in the UK is correct, CVs are checked and references requested and followed up on. We also request a criminal record check (which is available from most regions in most Eastern European countries).

Q: How much do you charge?

A: Our fees are very competitive, but you will need to contact us to find out just how competitive.

Q: Do I have to pay anything 'up front'?

A: NO, unlike some recruitment companies, we do not ask for any payments up front, in fact you will only pay for actual candidates you employ, there are no charges for advertising on the site, or for us to advertise the roles overseas. We will invoice you approx 1 week after recruits start work with you.

Q: I am interested in your services, what should I do next?

A: Contact Rachel Hubbard on 01989 500 130 or email her on Rachel@fruitfuljobs.com
